I know, from the subject line you're probably thinking that I'm gonna tell you to do some journaling every single day, get into meditation mode, start tapping and clearing your energy drains and all that stuff.. AND YES that is part of the equation, but here's what mindset work really means. The word itself means from different sources :
Psychology today - A mindset is a belief that orients the way we handle situations — the way we sort out what is going on and what we should do. Our mindsets help us spot opportunities but they can trap us in self-defeating cycles.
Google - the established set of attitudes held by someone.
Merriam Webster - a mental attitude or inclination or a particular way of thinking : a person's attitude or set of opinions about something
Menellia's definition - it truly just means how you decide to think and act towards yourself, life and situations with the aim of leaning towards the positive.
Unfortunately the modern online world has thrown the word around like pompoms, thus making the process so difficult which usually results in self sabotage, giving up, fear intensifying and the like.
I've found that by rigidly "relying" on a practice to accelerate your attitude towards well "taking action" has become a disservice to many women especially online because instead of enjoying the creative process of their job, business and even living, they have been confirmed to a set structure "which in itself is ridiculous" because isn't that the exact opposite of what we're trying to achieve?
Mindset work doesn't have to be so boring, difficult, boxed down into a set structure every single day. It doesn't. You get to decide how you elevate yours, by simply doing what works best for you.
So today your challenge will be to let go of all the beliefs you've been holding towards "shifting your mindset for example, it's so hard, I can't do this, It's so much work" and simply just begin to adapt the behaviour and attitude of exactly what it is you are desiring to become.
